Over the coming weekends Community Service work is being undertaken in Elsworth.

The Churchyard Fence (in the new churchyard) will be repaired and the side of the road by the Drift and the Churchyard cleared of debris and unwanted greenery. This work is in order to prepare the ground for the planting of a new mixed hedge.

This is a joint undertaking with the Community Services between the Parish Council and the PCC of Holy Trinity Church. The hedging is being supplied under the Scheme run by the Environment Division Country Services Team of the County Council with a financial contribution from the Parish Council.

If you are walking through the churchyard on the coming Saturdays the team responsible for the Community Service work would be pleased to see you. Both the PC and the PCC are delighted that this project can be undertaken to enhance this area of the village.
