Elsworth Village

Elsworth is a Cambridgeshire village with a population of approximately 670. The village is surrounded by farmland, but the A14, A428 and M11 are all within easy reach.

There are rail services from St Neots, Huntingdon and Cambridge.

The village has two pubs, a church, a primary school, a pre-school, a recreation ground, a business park and a Post Office/shop.

The Rev Wilbert Awdrey, creator of Thomas the Tank Engine, was rector of Elsworth at the time he wrote the first "Thomas" book.
