South Cambridgeshire District Council has been named as the best at recycling in the whole country. Our recycling rate has leapt from 18% to nearly 51% at the end of September 2004, an incredible achievement for all South Cambs residents. Sebastian Kindersley, environmental health portfolio holder, said "I would like to say a big thank-you to the residents of South Cambridgeshire whose excellent recycling efforts helped us to win this Award for Excellence." How much have we recycled?
